Traitor

It seems that many of today's action-suspense films are modeling the Bourne Trilogy's cinematography and rawness. Don Cheadle stars in Traitor as Samir Horn, an American Muslim, and a former Special Forces expert in explosives. FBI agent Roy Clayton (Guy Pearce) heads up an investigation that ties Horn to terrorist bombings and goes after him. Cheadle is locked in prison and eventually breaks out and gets away with the terrorists he has bonded over chess games with while being incarcerated. The cat and mouse chase begins and an even bigger terrorist threat arises.

I liked the film when I saw the previews but it was just too slow in some parts for me to fall in love with it. The whole terrorist them in films is beginning to bore me. Mr. Cheadle is a fantastic actor and outperforms his supporting cast, but it is not enough for me to give this anything higher than 3 out 5. Wait for the DVD, but do see it.
